A selection of the more than 1,000 participants in the VCF Camps in Italy had a Training Experience
More than 1,000 children in 24 cities in Italy enjoyed the different VCF Camps that took place this past summer, and a selection of those participants also had a Training Experience at the Ciudad Deportiva during September.
In the visit to Valencia, they had the opportunity to train, play a friendly match and also meet with players from the Valencia CF first team.
MEETING THE FIRST TEAM PLAYERS
“For the children -and for us-, this meeting has been a very important moment” explains Giulio Longo, coordinator of the VCF Academy Programs for Italy and Malta.
“They have had the opportunity to take photos, have their shirts signed, and that ends up making you feel more involved with the team. It is something that few clubs do."
Big presence in italy
"It is important for us to represent the club, because we have a great training methodology and real contact with Valencia CF," highlights Longo, who also met with some of the VCF Academy coaches who travelled to Italy to carry out the VCF Camps.
"Our aim is for the children to enjoy themselves and for the players to feel closer to Valencia CF with these VCF Camps, following the club as a second team. There are many children who are fans of Juventus, AC Milan etc, and they will continue to be fans of their teams, but what we like is that after participating in the VCF Camps they end up following what Valencia CF do."
vcf camps
The VCF Camps Italy that have been held in recent months are part of the VCF Academy Programs that this summer have taken VCF Camps to 15 countries in America, Asia and Europe with the presence of more than 5000 players between the ages of 5 and 16 years old.
